Village Halls Week 2026 – Connecting communities to health and wellbeing
This year’s campaign by Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) is set to take place 16-22 March. They intend to raise awareness on the importance of rural buildings and their role in keeping the community healthy and connected. This year you can expect the campaign to highlight the NHS 5 steps to wellbeing: https://www.nhs.uk/mental-health/self-help/guides-tools-and-activities/five-steps-to-mental-wellbeing/
- Connect with other people
- Be physically active
- Learn new skills
- Give to others
- Pay attention to the moment (mindfulness)
