Purpose/role

To enhance the village by providing tubs of colourful flowers and shrubs, for residents and visitors to enjoy.

For members to meet socially as well as fundraise  to provide the flowers etc.

When & where
Volunteers meet on the 2nd Saturday in the month to carry out tidying deadheading etc. This is followed by a get together in one of the many cafes/ pubs in the village for coffee. Fundraising events are held, eg coffee morning, cream tea afternoon and the AGM which includes a supper.

No joining fee or subscription.
Who can attend
Anyone who is interested, but not necessarily knowledgeable about plants, can join, just need to be willing and able to tend the tubs. New members welcome.
