Purpose/role:

A UK wide movement, which brings together people in their ‘third age’, ie after working full time and/or raising a family

Initially, Monday mornings from 10.30 to 12.00am in Cheddar Library, for coffee and a chat. Then there are 50+ interest groups as well as monthly coffee mornings and speaker meetings

Who can attend:
People who are retired or semi-retired, who want to continue learning and personal development for its own reward.
Support with attending :
U3A does not offer transport. However, its 500+ members are widespread and often share transport when suitable.

A social club for retired business men.  No political affiliation.

Meetings 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Wedmore Golf Club at 10.15am

An opportunity to share friendship and music in a relaxed and supportive group

Masonic Hall, usually every fortnight on a Monday, from 2.15 to 3.30pm

Open to carers and people with memory difficulties. Local musicians are very welcome to join us occasionally and provide a short performance as part of the session.
